Wi-Fi HaLow is a new Wi-Fi protocol based on the IEEE 802.11ah standard. Wi-Fi HaLow operates at frequencies below 1GHz, giving it more than 10x longer reach than conventional Wi-Fi. The sub-GHz signal also consumes less energy and penetrates walls and materials much better than 2.4GHz signals. This enables Wi-Fi HaLow IoT products to connect directly to the internet beyond 1km from the access point, making it suitable for many IoT applications such as smart buildings, manufacturing machinery, surveillance systems, retail, smart cars, anti-theft sensors, weather sensors, medical equipment, smart watches, wearable health tracking devices…
In order to introduce new communications technologies and promote IoT applications in the fields of smart cities, smart industrial parks and factories, smart agriculture... TMA Technology Group and DXCenter organizes seminar "Application of Wi-Fi HaLow in IoT" with leading experts in Wi-Fi technology from Australia and Vietnam.
