From October 13 - 14, 2026, TMA took part in the Seoul Tech Exchange & Partnership Day (STEP 2026) Global Business Matchmaking event in Seoul, Korea. TMA was represented by Mr. Bui Van Cuong, Vice President of Business Development, and Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, TMA AI Center Director. The event was organized by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA) with Gangseo-gu, Guro-gu and Geumcheon-gu districts and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (KICOX). It was held at COEX Magok and Four Points by Sheraton Seoul Guro.

STEP 2026 brought together technology companies and partners from Korea and other countries for a welcome reception, seminars, business matchmaking sessions and partnership signings, all aimed at opening new opportunities for international technology cooperation.

Sharing a local partner’s perspective on entering Vietnam’s tech market
At the seminar, Mr. Bui Van Cuong presented “Entering Vietnam’s Tech Market: A Local Partner’s Perspective.” He highlighted Vietnam’s growing technology market and the strong presence of Korean businesses in the country, which together create opportunities for Korean technology companies looking to expand there.
Drawing on TMA’s experience working with Korean partners, Mr. Cuong shared a practical approach to market entry. It starts with finding local partners who have customer access, market knowledge and local execution capability. From there, companies can validate their offering through a focused pilot, localize the product beyond language, and turn the first successful project into a local reference for scaling up.
MOU signing to strengthen Vietnam - Korea cooperation
At the event's signing ceremony, TMA signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which lays the foundation for the two sides for further cooperation.
