The client is the local government of Tateyama City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, aiming to improve public transport experience and optimize urban mobility through technology. The city prioritizes safety, operational transparency, and data-driven service improvements. 

• Lack of real-time visibility into bus operations and driver status.

TMA deployed an end-to-end Bus Monitoring System consisting of embedded devices, AI-based data analytics, and a web dashboard:

• Bus Location Tracking: Real-time tracking of buses using GPS and cellular communication.
• Passenger Load Monitoring: AI camera counts passengers boarding or exiting at each stop.
• Age/Gender Analysis: Facial recognition to estimate passenger demographics using AWS AI services.
• Data Export and Visualization: Provides detailed reports on OD data, station usage, and traffic patterns.
