On Monday, October 2nd, 2017, TMA members and guests celebrated our 20 year anniversary. In the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Huu Le − Chairman and Ms. Bui Ngoc Anh − CEO of TMA Solutions, expressed their appreciation to TMA’s customers for continuous support and staff for making TMA what it is today. In the last 20 years, TMA has grown from 6 to 2,000 engineers and has a strong customer base in 27 countries. Looking forward, the company will transform its operations to deliver higher value services and more innovative solutions to customers.

22 creative ideas about solutions for saving energy, better environment, process improvements, new tools, etc. were presented at the TMA Quarterly Hack Day #1 on Thursday, October 26th in the TMA Library and in other offices via video conference. Each participant had 3 minutes to present their idea and 3 minutes to answer questions from the committee. Seven ideas got awards and will be applied. With many ideas received, Hack Day #2 will be organized on Jan 4th, 2018.

The largest Vietnam IT Outsourcing event − VNITO Conference 2017 was organized in Ho Chi Minh City on October 19th, 2017. It attracted more than 400 delegates from 20 countries and speakers from KMPG, Microsoft, Siemens, Grab and Silicon Valley Forum.
The conference was aimed at showcasing Vietnam’s capabilities on software and BPO services. After more than 10 years of fast growth, Vietnam has now ranked tier 1 in A.T. Kearney’s Global Service Location Index and Gartner’s Global Delivery Country Destinations in the APAC Region. This year, with the theme “Vietnam − Asia Tier 1 Delivery Destination”, the event had many business matching activities to connect Vietnamese software and overseas technology companies.
Dr. Nguyen Huu Le, Chairman of TMA Solutions and a VNITO advisor, gave a speech about how to leverage Vietnamese talent for global innovation. With a young and well-educated population, strong mathematical background and a dynamic, adaptive and tech-savvy workforce, Vietnam is a new source of engineering talents for the latest technologies. Dr. Le also shared a TMA case study on how the company trains employees and builds new skills to support companies worldwide on innovation.
TMA’s booth with the theme “Innovation as a service” and demos of new technologies such as big data, IoT, AI & ML attracted conference participants to learn about new solutions that Vietnamese engineers can develop.
